Create a custom shortdc.com link
Step 1.
When you have logged in, in the left sidebar – click on “My links”
It will then show all the servers you are the owner of.
You can only see, add and edit Discord servers that you are the owner of.
Step 2.
Find the server that you want to create a custom URL for.
It has to be a server that has the status “No link active”
Click on the server you want to create a custom url for.
It will then open the “Create new link” box
Step 3.
In the field “Discord invite URL”
– Put the invite url you obtained from discord
In the field “Your shortcode URL”
– Put whatever you want your URL to be
Click on “Create link”
The Discord invite URL has to match the server you are creating the custom url for. You will not be able to put another servers invite url in the field “Discord invite URL”
Your custom shortdc.com url has to follow some rules in order to be created.
● The URL has to be atleast 3 characters long.
● The URL can not contain any bad words. There are alot of them, so we wont list them all. If you wish to contest a URL marked as a “bad word”, please contact us.
● The URL can only consist of letters A-Z and number 0-9. No spaces allowed.
Step 4.
If your link is successfully created you will now se something like this in your serverlist. Please note the “Link is active” indicating that that Discord server now has an active shortdc.com url
Clicking on your server in this state will open the “Edit” box for your active link.
